On October 5, 2026, Wrenford City Council approved updated parking rates that will take effect on November 1, 2026. The changes adjust hourly fees across downtown and commercial zones, and raise the daily maximum to support local businesses and fund ongoing street repairs.
Starting November 1, the new rates will be:
- Zone A (downtown core): $2.50 per hour
- Zone B (Fallsview and Market Square): $1.75 per hour
- Zone C (neighbourhood commercial): $1.25 per hour
- Daily maximum for all zones: $15.00
The monthly permit for the Market Square Parking Garage will also increase from $95.00 to $105.00.
“We heard from shop owners and visitors that predictable pricing helps everyone plan their day,” said Mayor Danielle Okafor-Price. “These small adjustments will improve turnover in the busiest spots and give us the funds we need to keep our streets and sidewalks in great shape.”
You will still pay using the Wrenford Park mobile app, the Pay & Go kiosks, or the Quick-Park QR signs on the street. Free parking continues after 4:30 p.m. on weekdays, and all day on weekends and statutory holidays. The time limits stay the same: three to four hours in Zones A and B, and six hours in Zone C.
