Wrenford water quality report for 2025 now available online

The City of Wrenford is pleased to announce that the 2025 Water Quality Report is now available online. This annual report details the results of daily and weekly testing for the Tamsin River source and the water that reaches your tap.

The report covers more than 200 tests for bacteria, minerals, and other parameters across our treatment and distribution systems. All results meet or exceed the provincial guidelines set out under the Safe Drinking Water Act, 2002 and the Drinking Water Quality, Protection and Standards of Quality and Safety Act, 2004. You can review the full data on our Water quality reports and monitoring page.

"If you ever notice a temporary change in taste or odour, your water is still safe to drink," says Patrick Nguyen, Water Operations Manager. "These changes often happen during seasonal flushing or after heavy rain. You can run your cold tap for a few minutes to clear it, or reach out to us at 311."

The City continues to invest in protecting the Tamsin River watershed. Our source water protection programmes work alongside conservation efforts to keep the water clean. Residents who want to learn more about how to use water efficiently at home can visit the Water conservation and efficiency toolkit.
