The City of Wrenford is pleased to announce that the Wildrye Splash Pad at Wildrye Park will officially open for the 2025 summer season on Wednesday, July 1. Located at 90 Wildrye Drive in the Wildrye neighbourhood, the splash pad provides a free, safe place for children and families to cool off and play.
Operating hours will run from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., seven days a week, once the weather warms up. The splash pad is designed for younger children, with low water jets and non-slip surfaces. You must supervise children at all times, and we encourage you to bring water shoes, towels, and sunscreen. The City also reminds visitors that no glass containers, outside food, or pets are permitted inside the splash pad area.
“Wildrye Park is a fantastic new addition to our community, and we are excited to bring this water play feature to residents in the area,” said Fiona Gallagher, General Manager of Community Services. “It is a great way for families to enjoy the outdoors together while staying cool during the summer months.”
The splash pad will remain open until the Labour Day long weekend, weather permitting.
