Wrenford Transit and city services will adjust their schedules for the Canada Day holiday on Tuesday, July 1. Residents who rely on transit to get to work, appointments, or community events should plan ahead.
Fixed routes 1 through 14 will run on the Sunday timetable. This means slightly longer wait times between buses, especially during the midday period. Wrenford Access will also operate on a reduced holiday schedule. You can view the full Sunday timetable on the full Sunday timetable page or check the transit app for real-time arrivals.
Municipal offices, including Wrenford City Hall, will be closed on July 1. The Service Wrenford counter at 100 Mercer Street will reopen on Wednesday, July 2. Waste collection will follow the regular schedule. If your garbage or recycling cart is not picked up, report it at report it. Parks, trails, and the Tamsin River Trail System will remain open for your enjoyment.
"We want to make sure riders can reach Canada Day in the Park and other community celebrations safely and on time," says Daniel Osei, Transit Manager. "Please check the schedule before you travel, and allow extra time for your trip."
