Summer day camps offer late registration slots

The City of Wrenford is opening a late registration window for summer day camps running through August 15, 2025. Families who missed the spring registration period can now secure spots for remaining camp weeks at select locations across the city.

Summer day camps provide a safe and active environment for children while parents are at work. Camps run daily from 7:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. and feature hands-on activities, outdoor play, and supervised swimming where available. Current themes include nature and trails, water and aquatics, arts and culture, sports and games, and community helpers.

Late registration is available for August dates only. Spots are limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Families can register online, by phone, or in person at any recreation facility. Please review the Day camp activities and themes page for a full list of locations and weekly themes before registering.

What you need to do:

Visit Summer day camps to view remaining August dates and select a location. If you need help creating an account or updating payment information, see the Registration and booking FAQs. You can also pick up a paper registration form at Wrenford City Hall or any recreation centre.

"Summer day camps are more than just childcare," says Caroline Dubé, Recreation Programs Coordinator. "They are a chance for kids to try something new, make friends, and enjoy the outdoors before the school year starts. We are glad to have this late window so no child misses out on the summer experience."
