Residential parking permits available May 1 for 2025-2026 term

Starting May 1, 2025, Wrenford residents can apply for their annual residential parking permits for the 2025–2026 term. You can submit your application online through the city portal or visit the Service Wrenford counter at City Hall. The application window stays open until the permits are sold out or the end of the term.

The city has moved to a fully digital permit system. Once approved, you will receive a printable PDF permit that you can display on your dashboard. You no longer need to hang a tag from your rearview mirror. Enforcement officers will scan your licence plate to verify your permit.

Permit fees are set annually. A residential permit costs $75.00. If you have visitors, you can purchase up to two visitor permits for $25.00 each. Students pay $50.00, and accessible permits are available for $25.00. You can add these to your main account when you apply.

Please note that your permit will not be renewed if you have outstanding parking tickets. Make sure your address is current with the city so you receive your digital permit and any important notices. Applying early ensures you avoid the last-minute rush and guarantees your spot.

“Keeping our parking system digital and easy to use helps reduce congestion in our neighbourhoods and downtown core,” says City Manager Robert Eng. “Applying early ensures you avoid the last-minute rush and guarantees your spot.”
