New pay stations installed near Downtown Transit Terminal

Fourteen new pay stations have been installed along Mercer Street and Market Square by the City of Wrenford's parking team as of May 15, 2025, to make paying for downtown street parking easier. The stations replace older equipment as part of the City's ongoing parking infrastructure improvements.

The new stations feature fast-tap signs with QR codes so you can quickly find the location code in the Wrenford Park app. You can also pay directly at the machine using coins, credit cards, debit cards, or contactless tap. You do not need to display a paper receipt in your vehicle window.

"We want to make sure you have easy, flexible ways to pay for street parking while you visit downtown," said Noah Feldman, Manager, By-law Enforcement. "The new pay stations work alongside the Wrenford Park app to keep things simple and reduce the need for paper tickets."

The stations are located at the following spots:

  • Two on the north side of Mercer Street, between Tamsin and Victoria Streets
  • Three on the east side of Market Square
  • Three on the south side of Mercer Street, between Church and Albert Streets
  • Six on the west side of Market Square, facing the transit terminal

Parking officers will begin enforcing payment starting Monday, May 26. Until then, you will receive a warning notice if you forget to pay. Regular ticketing resumes on Monday, June 2.

If you need help with the new stations or the mobile app, you can visit the Service Wrenford counter at City Hall, call 311 inside the city, or dial 519-555-0100 from outside.
