This season, you will find a wide range of options for every age and skill level. Children and youth can register for learn-to-skate sessions, figure skating, and aquatic lessons. Teenagers can sign up for drop-in open gym at the Tamsin Valley Leisure Centre or join teen fitness programs. Adults have access to yoga and pilates classes, strength training, aqua fitness, and gentle fitness sessions designed for older participants. If you enjoy creative pursuits, the visual and performing arts classes are back with new offerings in theatre, dance, music, and studio crafts.
When you register online, you will pay using a credit card or your pre-authorized payment plan. The system assigns your spot based on availability, so it helps to have a few date and time choices ready. If you need to change your mind, you can withdraw your registration up to 24 hours before a class starts to receive a full refund.
"We are always looking for ways to make sure our programs are accessible to everyone in Wrenford," says Caroline Dubé, Recreation Programs Coordinator. "If cost is a barrier, please look into our fee assistance options before you register." The city offers reduced fees and full waivers for eligible residents through the Leisure Access Card. Classes are kept small to ensure you get proper attention from instructors. Swim lessons, for example, cap beginner groups at eight participants, while general fitness classes usually run between 12 and 20 people.
