You can take care of unwanted household items and learn how to sort your waste at a free spring clean-up day at the East Wrenford Waste Management Facility on Saturday, May 31, 2025. The event runs from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and is open to all residents.
Spring is a busy time for waste collection. We want to make sure you have a safe and legal place to drop off bulky items, old furniture, and electronics. By using the depot, you help keep our streets, ravines and parks free of illegal dumping.
During the clean-up day, Waste Programs Supervisor Ben Achterberg and the city’s waste team will be on hand to answer questions about sorting, recycling and the Waste Wizard online lookup tool. You can also pick up free yard waste bags and learn about the city’s garbage and recycling services.
“We know spring cleaning brings on a lot of unwanted items,” said Waste Programs Supervisor Ben Achterberg. “This event gives you a convenient way to dispose of things responsibly while we all work together to keep Wrenford clean.”
