The East Wrenford Waste Management Facility will operate on a special schedule for the Christmas and New Year holidays. Residents should plan their visits to the depot at 3500 Concession 4 Road, Wrenford, ON N4Q 7A1 accordingly.
Regular hours are Monday to Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The holiday schedule is as follows:
- December 24 (Christmas Eve): 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- December 25 (Christmas Day): Closed
- December 26 (Boxing Day): Closed
- December 31 (New Year's Eve): 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- January 1 (New Year's Day): Closed
- January 2: Regular hours resume.
Your regular curbside collection will continue on its normal schedule. If your garbage or recycling cart is not empty by the time you leave for the holidays, that is fine. The collection crews will empty it on your regular day.
Do not leave your Christmas tree out for curbside pickup over the holiday weekend. The City collects Christmas trees curbside during the first two weeks of January. You can also bring your tree to the East Wrenford Waste Management Facility once it reopens. For more details on holiday disposal, see our Christmas tree recycling and composting guide.
During the holidays, Roads & Winter Maintenance crews will continue clearing snow and ice from Wrenford's streets. The overnight parking ban is in effect from December 1 to March 31, 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. Please remember to move your vehicle during snow events so crews can work safely.
