Wrenford City Hall will be closed on Wednesday, December 24 and Thursday, December 25, 2025, for the Christmas holiday. The building at 100 Mercer Street will reopen to the public on Friday, December 26.
During the closure, the Service Wrenford counter, the Clerk's Office, and Revenue Services will not be open for walk-in or phone service. Emergency calls will still go through 911. Non-emergency issues like missed waste collections, potholes, or water concerns can be reported online using the Wrenford 311 service or by calling 519-555-0100.
If you have a deadline that falls on those days, please plan ahead. You can still pay property tax and utility bills online through Manage your utility account, or drop cheques in the Revenue Services drop box at City Hall. The drop box is open 24 hours a day. Please note that the overnight on-street parking ban runs from December 1 to March 31, between 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. If you park on a snow zone street on December 24 or 25, vehicles may still be towed during the ban period. Plan your parking accordingly.
"We know the holidays bring a lot of changes to people's routines, so we want to make sure everyone has the information they need to plan ahead," said Robert Eng, City Manager. "Our teams will still be working behind the scenes to keep the city running smoothly."
