The City of Wrenford is rolling out a new Community Block Party Trailer for 2025, giving residents an easy way to bring neighbours together. Starting this spring, neighbourhood groups can book the trailer to host block parties across the city.
The 14-foot trailer is packed with everything you need to throw a neighbourhood get-together. It comes with a barbecue, a portable sound system, folding tables and chairs, coolers, lawn games, and cleaning supplies. The City will deliver the trailer directly to your street and pick it up the next day at no cost.
“The Community Block Party Trailer is all about helping neighbours meet and build a stronger sense of community,” says Fiona Gallagher, General Manager of Community Services. “It removes the guesswork and cost of a block party so you can focus on the food, the fun and getting to know the people who live around you.”
To book the trailer, neighbourhood leaders must submit a request through the Neighbourhoods page. The City reviews requests on a first-come, first-served basis and gives priority to groups that have never booked before. Requests must be approved at least four weeks before your event date.

The trailer is available from May through September. Once your booking is confirmed, a City staff member will call you to confirm the drop-off time and review the equipment list.
