Today is municipal election day in Wrenford. Polls are open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at all designated voting stations across the city. If you are on the voters list, head to your local voting place or any station in Wrenford to cast your ballot for Mayor, City Councillors, and School Board Trustees.
Advance voting wrapped up on Sunday, October 25. Thousands of residents already made their voices heard. We are very grateful to everyone who took the time to vote early. If you have not voted yet, today is your chance.
Where to vote
You can vote at any voting station in the city. Find your nearest location on the Voting place map and hours page. All stations are wheelchair accessible. Assistive ballot marking devices are available at selected locations for voters who need extra help.
What to bring
You must show identification that proves both your identity and your current Wrenford address. Acceptable forms of ID are listed on the Elections page. If you do not have ID with your current address, you can register at the voting station if you are on the voters list.
Voting by mail and homebound voting
Voters who requested a mail-in ballot must return it by 8:00 p.m. today. Drop boxes are open at City Hall and the Downtown Transit Terminal. The homebound voting pilot program helped a small number of residents vote from their homes earlier this month. If you need assistance on election day, call Wrenford 311 at 311 or 519-555-0100 to see what options are still available.
Learn about the candidates

"Thank you to every voter who takes the time to cast a ballot and have their voice heard," said Mayor Danielle Okafor-Price. "Municipal elections shape the services and streets we use every day. We encourage every eligible resident to participate."
Once the polls close at 8:00 p.m., counting will begin. Because Ontario law requires all ballots to be counted by hand, the process will take some time. Official results will be posted to the Elections page as they are verified.
