The Wrenford Public Library Board released its official minutes from the September 2024 meeting on Wednesday, September 25. Residents can view the full record online or pick up a printed copy at the Main Branch on Mercer Street.
The minutes cover the board's discussion on the upcoming winter reading program, budget updates for the Northgate and Ambrel Lake branches, and the fall volunteer orientation. The board met on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the Main Branch community room. The nine-member board, made up of seven residents, one city councillor, and one youth trustee, also reviewed the fall schedule for public comment periods.
You can read the minutes on the library's website. If you need a printed copy or have questions about the decisions made, stop by the front desk at 150 Mercer Street or call 519-555-0130. The library also welcomes public comments at future meetings if you fill out a form 48 hours in advance. Trustees want to hear from the community about how we can improve our services and make our branches more accessible for everyone.
"We want to keep our community in the loop on how we spend your tax dollars and plan new programs. These minutes show exactly where we are headed this fall," said Library CEO Tara Sandhu.
