The City of Wrenford is seeking community volunteers to serve on the Parks and Facilities Advisory Committee. The committee will provide guidance and recommendations to Council and City staff on the planning, maintenance, and enhancement of Wrenford's parks, trails, and recreational facilities.
The committee will meet approximately eight times per year at Wrenford City Hall. Members will help prioritize capital projects, review facility usage policies, and identify opportunities to improve green spaces across the city.
We encourage residents from all neighbourhoods to apply. A two-year volunteer term begins in January 2025. To apply, submit a brief résumé and a covering letter explaining your interest and any relevant experience to the City Clerk's Office by Friday, October 11, 2024.
"Advisory committees are a vital way for residents to help shape the places we enjoy every day," said Fiona Gallagher, General Manager of Community Services. "We are looking for people who are passionate about parks, trails, and community facilities, regardless of their professional background."
