The City of Wrenford is pleased to announce that community garden plots at Centennial Gardens will be available for the 2025 growing season. Registration for these popular plots opens on the first Monday of March 2025.
Each plot measures three by nine metres and is designed to give gardeners plenty of room to grow vegetables, herbs, and flowers. The annual registration fee is $45.00 per plot. The City has updated its garden plot guidelines to include accessible pathways at all plot sites, making it easier for everyone to tend their gardens comfortably.
Gardeners are asked to follow a few simple rules to keep the garden tidy and productive. All plants and debris must be cleared by October 31 each year. The City will remove any leftover materials after this date. If you need help with your plot or want to learn more about the registration process, you can contact the Parks & Trails team directly.
"We want to make sure every gardener has the tools and space they need to grow something they are proud of," says Maya Chen-Watson, Parks Planner. "The accessible pathways and clear seasonal guidelines help us keep Centennial Gardens a welcoming place for the whole community."
