Ways to get around

Getting around Wrenford should be easy for everyone. If you are a youth between 13 and 24, the City offers several programs to help you save on transit, ride safely, and get to school or work without stress. Visit the Youth Engagement Hub at City Hall or apply online to get started.

Wrenford Access for youth

Wrenford Access is our specialized door-to-door transit service for people who cannot use regular buses. If you are between 16 and 24 years old, you can ride for free. You just need an active Wrenford Transit monthly or annual pass. To book a ride, call 311 or use the Wrenford Access app. Rides run from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on weekdays.

Youth Mobility Pass

The Youth Mobility Pass gives you a big discount on regular bus fares. For just $25.00 a month, you get unlimited rides on all fixed-route buses (Routes 1 to 14) and Wrenford Access. You must be a student or under 25 years old. Passes are valid from the first day of the month you buy them. You can pick one up at the Downtown Transit Terminal or order one online.

Bike share and active transport

Wrenford Bike Share has docking stations all over downtown and near major schools. Youth who show a valid photo ID get 50 per cent off an annual membership. The City also puts free helmets and repair tools at each station. If you prefer to walk or roll, use the transit maps to find the safest paths to your school or college.

Safe Routes to School

The City works with the Wrenford District School Board and the Wrenford Catholic District School Board to keep kids safe on their way to class. Crossing guards are posted at busy intersections during drop-off and pick-up times. The interactive map shows which routes have guards, where to cross safely, and where to find bike racks at every campus.
