About the scholarship programme
If you are planning to continue your education or learn a skilled trade, the Wrenford Youth Scholarship and Financial Aid Programme can help cover tuition, books, and equipment. This programme supports Wrenford residents aged 15 to 24 who are starting or continuing full-time studies in the fall term.
Who can apply
- You are a Wrenford resident aged 15 to 24.
- You are enrolled full-time in an accredited post-secondary college, university, or skilled trades program.
- Your program starts in the fall term of the current application year.
- You have not previously received a Wrenford Youth scholarship award.
High school students in Grade 12 are not eligible. If you are currently using the Youth Employment Hub, you are encouraged to apply, but it is not required. You do not need to be a client to apply.
How much is available
Up to $1,500.00 is awarded per recipient. The final amount depends on your financial need, program costs, and the total number of applications we receive. Awards are paid directly to your school or training provider so the money goes straight to your education.
How to apply
Applications are submitted online and take about 20 minutes to complete. You will need to upload the following:
- A completed application form.
- A letter of intent (300 words or less) explaining your career goals and why you need this support.
- Proof of enrollment from your school or training provider.
- An unofficial academic transcript or record of your current grades.
