Adult day program

A safe, social day program for older adults with meals, activities, and caregiver respite.

About the program

The Centennial Adult Day Program provides a safe, welcoming place for older adults to spend the day. You will enjoy social activities, light meals, and wellness checks in a relaxed setting. The program also offers daytime respite for caregivers and family members who need a break.

Where and when

The program is hosted at the Ambrel Lake Recreation Centre. You can find us at 1300 Ambrel Lake Road, Wrenford, ON N4Q 5D4. The program runs Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. We are closed on statutory holidays.

What you can expect

  • Light breakfast and lunch prepared by our kitchen staff
  • Group activities like crafts, games, and music
  • Gentle exercise and chair yoga
  • Access to reading rooms and quiet spaces
  • Regular wellness checks by a community health worker

Cost and financial help

The daily fee is $25.00. This covers your meals, activities, and facility use. If the cost is a barrier, financial assistance is available through the Seniors Activity Fee Assistance program. You can apply for a fee waiver or reduced rate by visiting the Service Wrenford counter or calling us. We do not turn anyone away for lack of funds.
