Third party billing for water

Authorize a family member, property manager, or agent to view or pay your water bill online or over the phone.

Why use a third party for your water bill?

Many residents need someone else to handle their water account. This is common for property managers, tenants, family members, or agents. Authorizing a third party lets them view bills, make payments, and update contact details without sharing your personal login.

How to add a third party

To give someone access to your account, you must fill out the Water Billing Third-Party Authorization Form. You can submit it by email or drop it off at the Service Wrenford counter at City Hall. Once we receive your form, we will set up the access within three business days. You will receive a confirmation email with the third party's login details.

You can remove a third party at any time by submitting a revocation request. Access ends immediately once we process the request.

For property managers and agents

If you manage multiple rental properties or work as a real estate agent, you can register for a third-party service account. This account lets you view and pay bills for several properties under one login.

To register, email [email protected] with your business name, contact information, and a list of the property addresses you manage. Our team will review your request and send an access code and link to set up your portal account.

What third parties can do

  • View current and past water bills
  • Make payments online or by phone
  • Update mailing addresses and email notifications
  • Request a meter reading or report a leak

Privacy and security

We protect your personal information under the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA). We only share account details with people you explicitly authorize. You can change or revoke access at any time.
