Election worker roles
We are hiring election workers to support the 2026 Wrenford municipal election. All positions are now filled. Thank you to everyone who applied to help run a fair and accessible vote.
- Presiding Election Official: Oversees voting operations at an assigned voting place. You ensure procedures are followed, keep the voting area safe and accessible, and manage any issues that come up. This role is ideal for people with leadership experience who stay calm in fast-paced environments. Election experience is an asset.
- Alternate Presiding Election Official: Supports the Presiding Election Official and steps in to lead voting operations if they are unavailable. You help set up and close the voting location and register voters. This role is great for returning workers who want to take on more responsibility.
- Election Official: Guides voters through the voting process, verifies identification, processes registrations, and issues ballots. Strong customer service skills and comfort with computers are important.
- Rover: Supports voting operations across multiple locations. You check that voting places are ready, deliver supplies, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide on-site help to other staff.
