Welcome to the Southview Heritage Garden, a quiet community garden located in Ward 4. You can visit the garden at 280 Fernhill Crescent, just off Southview Park. The space is open to everyone from dawn to dusk, year round, and you do not need a booking to walk through the paths or enjoy the benches.
Gardeners can explore the dedicated herb garden, where you will find fragrant plants arranged in raised beds. The site also features beehives that support local pollinators, and a rainwater collection system that keeps the soil moist during dry spells. Benches are placed along the paths, giving you a place to rest and watch the garden change with the seasons.
If you are interested in joining a community garden, visit our Find community garden plots page to see available plots. You can also read up on park rules and guidelines to make sure you follow the city's standards for shared green spaces. For more gardening tips, check out our Community gardens page.
Please note that this heritage garden is not available for private rental or booking. Thank you for helping keep Southview green and beautiful.
