Old Mill Urban Garden is a community garden in the Old Mill neighbourhood, just off Mill Street. You can reserve a plot to grow your own vegetables, herbs, or flowers. The garden features raised beds that are easy to reach, a dedicated children's planting zone for young gardeners, picnic tables for breaks, and waste bins for clean-up.
The space is open from dawn to dusk, year round. You can book a plot online or in person at City Hall. Plots are available on a seasonal basis, and registration opens in the spring. Check the Garden plot registration page for dates and fees.
Please follow the Learn about park bylaws and rules when you visit. Keep paths clear, water your plants regularly, and remove weeds. If you need help with accessibility or have questions about plot sizes, contact the Parks & Trails team at Contact cultural services.
