Ashgrove Park is a quiet neighbourhood green space located at 225 Achterberg Street in Ward 4. The park is open from dawn to dusk, year round. You will find picnic tables scattered across the grassy areas, making it a good spot for a casual lunch or a weekend gathering. Trash receptacles are placed throughout the site to help keep the grounds clean. The surrounding area is well lit by street lighting, providing safe access for pedestrians and cyclists in the early morning or evening.
Because the park does not have bookable shelters or indoor facilities, you cannot reserve it for private events. It is a public space designed for everyday recreation and relaxation. If you plan to host a larger group, check out our park shelter rental page.
Please follow all park rules and bylaws when visiting. Keep noise levels reasonable, especially near nearby homes, and dispose of all waste in the provided bins. Dogs must be kept on a leash unless you are in a designated off-leash area.
