About the Market Square Parking Garage
The Market Square Parking Garage is a multi-level facility located in the heart of downtown Wrenford. It is open twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Whether you are visiting the Downtown Transit Terminal, attending an event at the Fallsview Arts Centre, or shopping along Mercer Street, the garage offers a convenient place to leave your vehicle.
You can enter the garage from Market Square. Follow the signs for hourly and daily parking, or for monthly parking permits.
Parking Rates and Payment
Pay as you drive, or sign up for a monthly pass if you park here often. Payment is made at the entry kiosk or through the City's smartphone app.
- Hourly rate: $3.00
- Daily maximum: $12.00
- Monthly pass: $75.00
Monthly pass holders pick up their swipe card at the booth inside the garage, Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. You can also manage your monthly account online or by calling the Contact desk.
Height and Vehicle Restrictions
The garage has a maximum overall height clearance of 2.1 metres (6 feet 10 inches). Please watch for interior signs that show lane heights. Large trucks, tall campers, and vehicles with roof racks or cargo boxes may not fit. If you are unsure, check with the parking attendant before entering.
Safety and Security
The garage is monitored by security cameras around the clock. The City provides these spaces to help keep downtown active, but you are responsible for your own vehicle and belongings. Follow these simple steps to stay safe:
- Secure your valuables: Do not leave wallets, purses, electronics, or bags in plain sight. If you must store items, keep them in the trunk or glove compartment.
- Lock your vehicle: Make sure all doors and windows are closed and locked before you walk away.
- Park in well-lit areas: Choose spots near columns, elevators, or busy walkways to discourage theft or damage.
- Report suspicious activity: If you see something unusual, tell a parking attendant or call 911. For non-emergency parking issues, call the garage line.
Remember to park at your own risk. The City is not responsible for damage to your vehicle or loss of personal items.
