Wrenford Ice Days registration opens for January 2027 events

Registration for the Wrenford Ice Days festival is now open for the Family Day weekend in February 2027. The city's annual winter celebration takes place at Riverside Flats Park and features skating, snow sculptures, live music, and family-friendly activities on the Tamsin River Trail.

You can sign up to participate in the ice carving contest, join the community skate parade, or volunteer for the event through the Recreation & Culture portal. The festival runs from Friday, February 13 to Sunday, February 15. Skating rinks will be set up at Riverside Flats Park, Benchlands Lookout Park, and the Westbrook Community Arena.

If you plan to attend, plan your trip carefully. The overnight on-street parking ban is in effect from December 1 to March 31 between 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. to allow snow crews to clear the main roads and residential streets. Check the Roads & Winter Maintenance section for details on the overnight on-street parking ban and snow clearing schedules. Monitor Snow route parking bans exemptions if you live on a snow route. You can also track active plowing crews through the Service Alerts page.

"Winter brings our community together," says City Manager Robert Eng. "Ice Days is one of the highlights of our calendar, and we want everyone to enjoy it safely while the snow is on the ground."
