Registration is now open for the 2026–2027 winter season at the Northgate Aquatic Centre, located at 910 Northgate Boulevard. The facility is open Monday to Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and on weekends from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Whether you are looking to build water confidence, improve your fitness, or simply enjoy a swim with your family, we have a program for you. This season, we are expanding our Swimming lessons for all ages and abilities, adding new Aqua fitness classes for adults and seniors, and increasing our drop-in public swim sessions. The centre’s 50-metre pool, dive tank, and waterslide are fully prepared for the winter months.
“We are thrilled to welcome residents back to the water for the winter season,” says Caroline Dubé, Recreation Programs Coordinator. “Our programs are designed to build water confidence and keep our community active, no matter the weather outside. We have made it easier than ever to register and find a time that fits your schedule.”
Registration opens today and runs until the first week of December. You can register online through the Recreation portal, by phone at 519-555-0121, or in person at the front desk. If you are on a fixed income, you may qualify for reduced fees through the Leisure Access Programme. Proof of income is required at the time of registration.
