The City of Wrenford is now accepting applications for lifeguards, splash pad attendants, and concession staff at Kingfisher Outdoor Pool. The seasonal positions will run from late June to Labour Day. The pool is located at 15 Kingfisher Court in the Kingfisher neighbourhood.
We need dedicated people to keep our aquatic facilities safe and open. Lifeguards must hold a valid Canadian Red Cross certification. Splash pad attendants will monitor the play area, enforce rules, and assist with daily cleaning. Concession workers will handle food service and maintain a friendly environment for families.
"We want to make sure every swimmer has a safe and fun experience this summer," says Fiona Gallagher, General Manager of Community Services. "Our team is dedicated to keeping our pools open and running smoothly. If you enjoy working outdoors and helping others, this is a great way for you to earn while you play."
You must be at least 15 years old by the start of the season. The hourly rate is $17.50 for splash pad attendants and $19.00 for lifeguards, with overtime available during peak hours. To apply, please visit the Access community recreation programs page and select the "Aquatics Staff" tab. The application deadline is May 31, 2026. Interviews will be held in early June at Wrenford City Hall.
