The Kingfisher Outdoor Pool and splash pad at 15 Kingfisher Court will open for the season on June 12, 2026, after passing its annual safety inspection. City crews have completed all necessary repairs and water quality checks to ensure a safe environment for swimmers and families.
The splash pad will operate daily from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. from late June to Labour Day. The main pool will open on the same day as the splash pad. All outdoor water amenities are weather dependent, and opening times may shift if heavy rain or cold winds arrive. We will post any updates on our Service Alerts page and through our official social media channels.
"We are excited to welcome families back to the water this summer," said Caroline Dubé, Recreation Programs Coordinator. "The Kingfisher Outdoor Pool offers a safe, supervised space for swim lessons, leisure swims, and splash pad play. Our lifeguards are fully trained and ready to watch over guests all season long."
Check the Facility information and hours page for the daily schedule and lifeguard shifts. If you are looking for classes or day camp activities, visit the swimming lessons and aquatic programs page to see the full list of options. Registration for fall programs opens on the last Monday of August, so mark your calendars and plan ahead.
