Transit crews are adjusting bus routes 4 and 13 to work around road construction near the East Wrenford Waste Management Facility. The detours will be in effect from Monday, June 15, 2026, through Friday, July 31, 2026.
Crews will be resurfacing a section of Concession 4 Road and widening the turn lane at Eastfield Road. Because of the lane closures, buses serving the industrial park and the eastern corridor cannot use their normal paths. The downtown terminal at Market Square will remain open, but stops along the affected streets will move temporarily.
How your route is affected
Route 13 (Industrial Park East to Downtown) will travel east on Eastfield Road, turn north onto Corvid Way, and rejoin the regular path at Tamsin Street. Stops near the waste management facility will shift to the east side of Concession 4 Road, just past the construction zone.
Route 4 (Eastfield to Downtown) will leave Eastfield Road at Corvid Way, follow Corvid Way south to Mill Street, and head east to Tamsin Street. Riders waiting at the usual stops on Eastfield Road will need to walk to the temporary stop on Corvid Way.
Drivers are responsible for the safety of our riders, pedestrians, and road crews. We ask that you allow an extra ten to fifteen minutes for your trip during this period.
“We know detours can be frustrating, but keeping the road crews safe means keeping the rest of the city moving,” says Daniel Osei, Transit Manager. “We have added an extra bus to both routes so you will not have to wait longer for a ride.”
