As of February 16, 2026, the City of Wrenford has opened the online portal for businesses to renew their 2026 business licences. All business licences expire on December 31, 2026. You can renew your licence online through the Wrenford eLicence Portal, in person at Wrenford City Hall, or by mail. The City encourages online renewal because it is the fastest and simplest way to keep your business compliant.
Whether you are a new business or renewing an existing licence, the process is straightforward. You will need your Business ID, your location details, and a valid payment method. If you are renewing in person, you can pay with any cashier at the Service Wrenford counter. If you choose to mail your renewal notice and payment, please allow extra time for delivery. Payments received after the renewal deadline will be subject to a 10 per cent late payment fee.
"Renewing your business licence online is the fastest way to keep your operations running smoothly and avoid any unnecessary delays," says Robert Eng, City Manager. "Our team is here to help if you have questions about your licence category or location approval."
Before you submit your renewal, take a moment to confirm that your business activities and location have not changed. If you are starting a new business, you will need to apply for a location approval and confirm that your chosen space is zoned for your type of operation. You can find a full list of licence types and the current fee schedule on the Business Licences page.
