The City of Wrenford is hosting a free holiday skating special at the Westbrook Community Arena on Saturday, December 7, 2025. You are welcome to bring your family and friends for a morning of fun on the ice.
The session runs from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the main ice pad at 40 Westbrook Drive, Wrenford, ON N4Q 2C9. You can bring your own skates or rent them at the front desk. Helmets are free to borrow from the City's lending program, and you must wear one while on the ice. Please dress warmly and bring a water bottle.
"We want to make sure our community has a chance to connect and stay active during the busy holiday season," says Fiona Gallagher, GM Community Services. "This event is a great way for you and your family to try skating or just enjoy the ice together in a welcoming space."
Public skating at Westbrook Arena is part of the City's winter recreation season. If you are looking for more ways to get on the ice, check the public skating schedule for regular drop-in times at all City arenas. You can also find learn-to-skate classes if you want to build your skills, or book an ice time slot for a private practice session.
Skate rentals cost $42.00 for a 10-pack. The City also offers a free helmet lending program at all public skating locations. For more details on equipment and safety rules, visit the skate rentals and equipment page.
We hope to see you on the ice this December 7. For a full list of winter programs and registration dates, visit the Programs section.
