The Tamsin Valley Leisure Centre will close for one day, Tuesday, March 3, 2025, for planned plumbing upgrades. The City of Wrenford is making these repairs to the water and waste systems inside the building to keep all amenities running safely. The closure will affect the 25-metre lap pool, leisure pool, fitness centre, fieldhouse, walking track, and child-minding room.
During the closure, all drop-in fitness classes and registered programs at the centre will be cancelled. Residents who normally visit for swimming, gym work, or indoor sports can use the Northgate Aquatic Centre, Westbrook Community Arena, or Ambrel Lake Recreation Centre instead. All other City recreation facilities will remain open on their normal hours.
“We plan these short closures each year so we can keep our facilities safe and running smoothly for everyone,” says Fiona Gallagher, general manager of community services. “We encourage you to visit our other centres or check our online calendar for drop-in times.”
If you have a registration or facility booking that falls on March 3, please contact us to reschedule. You can reach the City of Wrenford through Contact or call 519-555-0100. For a full list of operating times and any other planned breaks, please visit Check holiday service hours.
