Registration for summer day camps and all other summer recreation programs opens on May 7, 2025, across Wrenford. Families in the city can sign up for day camps, swim lessons, fitness classes, and visual arts programs starting at 7:30 a.m.
This year, the City offers more than 100 day camp options for children ages 5 to 12. Camps run from July 2 to August 29, 2025. You can choose full-day or half-day schedules. Drop-off and pick-up times are 7:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. each day. If your child needs a ride to an off-site field trip, a charter bus is provided.
Each camp week follows a set theme. Past themes include nature and trails, water and aquatics, arts and culture, sports and games, and community helpers. All camp locations are equipped with visual schedules and quiet spaces to support neurodivergent children and those who need a calm break during the day.
"We are thrilled to bring back a full lineup of engaging summer programs that keep kids active, creative, and connected with their neighbours," says Caroline Dubé, Recreation Programs Coordinator. "Whether your child wants to learn to swim, try pottery, or explore the Tamsin River Trail, there is a spot for them."
Alongside day camps, registration opens for all other summer programming. This includes the Swim for Life lessons, parent and tot classes, teen fitness programs, and drop-in wellness sessions at the Tamsin Valley Leisure Centre and Northgate Aquatic Centre.

Create or update your account on the portal before registration day to avoid delays. Please note that there may be a short processing delay for payments right when the system opens. Confirmation emails might not arrive immediately.
