Public consultation opens for 2026 municipal election voting locations

The City of Wrenford is opening public consultation on proposed voting locations for the 2026 municipal election on Monday, October 26, 2026. The consultation runs through Monday, September 22, 2025, at Wrenford City Hall and online.

We are reviewing several community facilities and local schools to ensure every voter has a smooth and accessible experience. Current proposals include the Tamsin Valley Leisure Centre in the Benchlands neighbourhood, the Westbrook Community Arena in Westbrook, and the Ambrel Lake Recreation Centre in the south-east.

You can view the full list of locations and leave your comments through our Development Applications portal or by visiting the Find a planning application page. You will have until September 22, 2025, to submit your feedback on parking, transit access, and wheelchair accessibility for each site.

"We want every resident to have a smooth and accessible voting experience on October 26," says City Manager Robert Eng. "Your feedback helps us match the right facilities with the needs of each ward."

The City Clerk's office will finalize the list of voting places in September 2026. You will receive your official voting card by mail in early October, or you can register on the day at any advance voting location. Advance voting is scheduled for Monday, October 20, and Tuesday, October 21, 2026.

You can learn more about how to register, check your voter status, and view the full 2026 election schedule on the Elections page.
