Wrenford's Recreation & Culture department is pleased to announce the summer 2025 swim lesson schedule at the Northgate Aquatic Centre. The programme runs from June 9 to August 15, 2025, and registration opens for all ages and ability levels on Friday, May 16.
The schedule covers the complete Swim for Life programme. Classes run from Parent & Tot for babies as young as six months, through Preschool and Swimmer levels, up to Teen/Adult lessons. The Northgate Aquatic Centre will also host adapted Swim abilities classes, lifeguard certification courses, and aqua fitness sessions. During open swim hours, the 50-metre pool, dive tank, and waterslide will be fully operational for public use.
"Summer is our busiest season for aquatic programming," said Caroline Dubé, Recreation Programs Coordinator. "We have expanded the evening slots this year so that working parents and teens can fit lessons into their schedules without conflict. We want every resident to feel confident in the water and safe at the facility."
Registration opens at 7:00 a.m. on Friday, May 16. Residents can sign up online through Wrenford Recreation Online, by phone at 519-555-0121, or in person at the centre's front desk. Please create or update your recreation account before registration day to ensure smooth checkout. You will need a completed health questionnaire and a valid photo ID for every participant. Families with multiple children can link their accounts ahead of time to speed up the process.
