Main Branch library opens new digital literacy lab

The Main Branch of the Wrenford Public Library is opening a new digital literacy lab on Monday, February 24, 2025. Located at 150 Mercer Street, the new space will provide free computer access and staff support to help residents navigate online services. The Wrenford Public Library Board approved the project to ensure every resident can stay connected.

You can use the lab during regular library hours. Staff will be available to help you set up a library card, update your resume, or book a government appointment. You do not need to register to walk in and use the computers. If you prefer a private desk or need extra time for a specific task, you can book a free 30-minute session online or by calling 519-555-0130. The library also offers free wireless internet and quiet study areas throughout the branch.

"The digital literacy lab is about making sure every resident can take part in our connected city," said Tara Sandhu, Library CEO for the Wrenford Public Library Board. "Whether you are looking for a job, managing your property tax bill online, or learning how to video call your grandchildren, this space is for you."
