The City of Wrenford is closing Larch Heights Golf Course for the season. The course will close on Saturday, November 15, 2025, to prepare for winter storage and maintenance.
The 18-hole municipal course, located at 2100 Wrenford Line, Wrenford, ON N4Q 2G5, will remain closed through the winter months. The clubhouse and practice areas will also be shut down. Staff will use this time to perform necessary repairs, drain irrigation systems, and store equipment safely. The course is expected to reopen for the 2026 season in late April or early May, depending on weather conditions.
"We want to make sure the course is in great shape when players return," said Fiona Gallagher, General Manager of Community Services. "Winter storage and maintenance are essential steps to keep the fairways smooth and the greens healthy for next year."
During the closure, the parking lot and perimeter trails will still be open for pedestrians and cross-country skiers. Please stay on the marked paths to protect the turf and avoid any closed areas.
If you have questions about the closure or want to know more about the reopening date, you can reach the Larch Heights Golf Course team by calling 519-555-0126. You can also find general hours and seasonal updates on the Check holiday service hours page.
We thank all our golfers for a great season and look forward to seeing you back on the course in the spring. For more information about City recreation programmes and facilities, visit our website or stop by Wrenford City Hall.
