The City of Wrenford is pleased to announce the 2025 swim lesson schedule for the Kingfisher Outdoor Pool. Located at 15 Kingfisher Court in the Kingfisher neighbourhood, the seasonal outdoor pool and splash pad will open for the summer season from late June to Labour Day.
Swim lessons run for six weeks during the summer season. The programme covers all ages and skill levels, from Parent & Tot classes for infants to Swim for Life levels for teens and adults. Lessons take place Monday through Friday, with morning sessions for younger children and evening slots for school-aged kids. Drop-in public swim hours will also be available at the pool throughout the season.
“We want every resident to feel confident and safe in the water,” says Fiona Gallagher, General Manager of Community Services. “The Kingfisher Outdoor Pool has been a beloved community gathering spot for decades, and we are excited to welcome families back for another summer of learning and fun.”
Registration for spring and summer programmes opened on Monday, March 3, 2025. Residents can register online through the Wrenford Recreation portal, by phone at 519-555-0125, or in person at the pool’s front desk during business hours. Space is limited, so early registration is highly recommended.
