The City of Wrenford is pleased to announce the return of the Wrenford Ice Days festival, taking place over Family Day weekend in February at Riverside Flats Park. The event offers free public skating, community activities, and a chance for residents to celebrate the season together.
Skating sessions will be held on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Helmets are strongly recommended for all participants, and free skate rentals will be available on site. Families can also enjoy hot chocolate stands, winter craft activities for children, and live entertainment on the event lawn.
"Ice Days is one of our favourite ways to bring the community together and stay active during the colder months," said Fiona Gallagher, General Manager of Community Services. "We hope to see many residents out on the ice and enjoying the festive atmosphere."
The festival is free and open to the public. While you are planning your weekend, remember that the 2026 municipal election is approaching on October 26.
