Wrenford Transit will operate on special schedules for the Christmas and Boxing Day holidays in 2025. Residents should plan their travel ahead of time to avoid delays.
Fixed routes 1 through 14 will not run on Monday, December 25. Service will resume on Tuesday, December 26, but will follow Sunday timetables. The Downtown Transit Terminal will also follow its Sunday hours, opening at 8:00 a.m. and closing at 7:00 p.m. on both days.
Wrenford Access, the City's specialized transit service, will run on a holiday schedule. On December 25, service will operate from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. On December 26, it will run from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Riders can book trips through the Wrenford Transit app, by phone, or in person at City Hall.
"We want to make sure our riders can get where they need to go safely during the holidays, even with the adjusted times," says Daniel Osei, Transit Manager. "We encourage everyone to check the timetable and book their Wrenford Access trip at least a day in advance."
If you rely on transit to visit family, shop downtown, or attend holiday events, please allow extra travel time. You can view the full Sunday timetable and plan your route on our schedules page. For service updates on the day, follow our service alerts feed, review the main Transit section, or call 311 inside city limits.
