Harvest on Mercer festival returns September 21, 2025

The City of Wrenford is bringing the Harvest on Mercer festival to downtown Mercer Street today, Sunday, September 21, 2025. This annual celebration closes the street to traffic and brings neighbours together for a day of fall festivities.

Visitors can explore vendor booths selling local crafts and seasonal produce, enjoy live performances on the main stage, and grab a bite to eat from a variety of food trucks. A dedicated kids' zone will feature games and hands-on activities, while local musicians will keep the energy high from noon to five in the evening. The festival is free and open to the public.

‘We are thrilled to welcome everyone back to Mercer Street for Harvest on Mercer,’ said Marcus Lindqvist, Councillor for Ward 1. ‘It is one of our favourite ways to celebrate the autumn season and support our local businesses and artists. We hope to see you there!’

Because the festival takes place in the heart of downtown, the City asks drivers to plan ahead. Mercer Street between Tamsin and Water Streets will be closed to vehicles from ten in the morning until six in the evening. Free shuttle buses will run along the main corridor, and the Downtown Transit Terminal will be a short walk from the festival grounds. On-street parking is available on side streets before ten in the morning. For more details on traffic and parking, visit Check parking regulations and bylaws.
