Landlords and property managers in Wrenford can now apply for, renew, and manage their rental property business licences entirely online. The City has launched a dedicated section on the Wrenford eLicence Portal, making it faster and easier to stay compliant with municipal by-law requirements.
Under the Residential Rental Property Licence program, landlords must register each rental property and pay an annual fee of $200.00. The new portal allows you to submit required documents, such as your commercial liability insurance certificate and the post-inspection fire safety report, directly through your account. You will also be able to report changes, like a new property manager or a property sale, within the required thirty-day window without calling or mailing forms.
This update is part of a broader effort by the Economic Development team to simplify business compliance and reduce paperwork. "We are always looking for ways to make doing business in Wrenford smoother and more transparent," said Isabel Moreno, Economic Development Manager. "By moving rental licensing online, we help you save time while ensuring every rental meets our safety standards."
To get started, visit the portal through the Business Licences section of the City website. You will need your property address and a valid email address to create an account. If you need help with the application or have questions about the requirements, the By-law Enforcement team is ready to assist.
