The City of Wrenford is launching the 2025 Budget Engagement Survey today, November 14, 2024. Residents are invited to share what matters most to them and how they think the city should spend tax dollars over the next year.
The online survey runs until December 14, 2024. It covers all city services, including garbage collection, transit, parks and trails, road maintenance, fire and paramedic services, and property tax. The results will help city staff build the draft budget that council reviews in the spring.
"This survey is the most direct way for residents to shape our budget," said Robert Eng, City Manager. "Your answers tell us where we need to invest, what we can improve, and how we can keep property taxes predictable for everyone."
You can take the survey online through the Budget page or pick up a paper copy at any Wrenford Public Library branch. The survey takes about ten minutes to complete. You do not need to be a property owner to participate.
The city uses this feedback to plan its annual budget and to track progress on long-term goals. Once the draft budget is ready in March 2025, the city will hold more public meetings and workshops so you can see how your input was used.
