Summer day camp registration begins May 7

Registration for Wrenford's Summer Day Camps and all other summer recreation programs opens today, Tuesday, May 7, at 12:00 p.m. Families can sign up for a wide range of camp options designed for kids and teens ages 5 to 17. Whether your child loves sports, art, or spending time outdoors, there is a camp that will keep them active, engaged, and having a great time all summer long.

This year's camp schedule includes full-day and half-day options running throughout July and August. Camps are held at locations like the Tamsin Valley Leisure Centre, Ambrel Lake Recreation Centre, and Westbrook Community Arena. Each week focuses on a different theme, including Nature and trails, Water and aquatics, Arts and culture, Sports and games, and Community helpers. Camps run from 7:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. daily. Teen camps and month-long preschool programs are also available.

You can register online through Wrenford Recreation Online, by calling 519-555-0100, or in person at Wrenford City Hall (100 Mercer Street) or any recreation centre. We recommend creating or updating your account in advance so you are ready to go when registration opens. Please note that there may be a short delay in receiving your confirmation email right after registration starts. This is normal as our system handles a high volume of bookings.

"This summer, we have packed our camp schedule with hands-on activities, outdoor exploration, and creative projects that will keep kids active and engaged while you are at work," says Fiona Gallagher, GM Community Services. "We are looking forward to welcoming everyone back to our centres."
