The City of Wrenford will adjust service schedules for the Christmas and New Year holidays. Check transit routes, waste collection, and facility hours below to plan your week.
Transit
Wrenford Transit will not run on Christmas Day (December 25), Boxing Day (December 26), or New Year's Day (January 1). On Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, service ends at 6:00 p.m. Regular service resumes on December 27, December 31, and January 2. Bus schedules and timetables
Waste collection
Garbage, Blue Box, and Green Bin collection will run on their normal biweekly and weekly schedules throughout the holidays. The City will not collect holiday waste on the days offices are closed. Black cart and garbage collection
City offices and recreation facilities
City Hall and all Civic Offices will be closed on December 25, 26, and January 1. Recreation facilities, including the Tamsin Valley Leisure Centre and Westbrook Community Arena, will also close on statutory holidays. Cemetery and waste depots
The office at Wrenford Cemetery will be closed, but the gates will remain open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The East Wrenford Waste Management Facility will follow its standard operating hours on December 24 and 31, but will be closed on December 25, 26, and January 1.
