The City of Wrenford is closing Larch Heights Golf Course on Monday, November 20, 2023, for its annual winterization. The 18-hole municipal course at 2100 Wrenford Line will shut down to let maintenance crews prepare the grounds for the cold months ahead.
Crews will drain all irrigation lines, cut the grass to winter height, and secure the clubhouse and equipment. The course will stay closed through the winter. Golfers can look forward to reopening in the spring. If you want to play in the spring, mark your calendar: registration for spring and summer programs opens the first Monday of March. You can book your tee times as soon as registration opens.
Plan your rounds for the coming weeks. If you need to reach the golf course or any other city department about facility hours, visit the Contact page for phone numbers and email addresses. The course office can also answer questions at 519-555-0126.
“We are putting the final touches on the course before the ground freezes,” said Samuel Adeyemi, General Manager of Infrastructure and Planning. “Taking care of the grounds now ensures Larch Heights will be in great shape for our regulars when the weather warms up.”
