The City of Wrenford is looking for volunteers to help run its holiday season events, including the annual Lights at the Falls display and the downtown holiday craft market. Registration opens on November 10, 2023, and volunteer shifts are available through December 31, 2023.
You can help with set-up, ticket sales, crowd management, and refreshment stations. No previous experience is required. The City will provide all necessary training before each event. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old, and youth under 18 will need a signed consent form.
"Our holiday events bring the community together during the colder months, and they would not be possible without the dedication of our local volunteers," said Fiona Gallagher, general manager of community services. "We are looking for friendly faces to help keep the season bright for everyone."
Shifts are available on weekday evenings and weekend afternoons. You can choose the dates and times that work best for your schedule. The City provides free hot drinks, a volunteer appreciation dinner in January, and a certificate of recognition for your efforts.
