Wrenford City Hall will be closed to the public on Thursday, November 1, 2023, while the Information Technology team completes annual system maintenance. The closure applies to the front entrance and the Service Wrenford counter at 100 Mercer Street from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
During this window, staff will work remotely or handle calls from back offices. The building will remain locked to visitors, but all emergency services, including Wrenford Police Service, Wrenford Fire Rescue, and Wrenford Paramedic Services, will continue operating on their normal schedules. Online services, such as utility payments, business licence applications, and building permit requests, will remain fully accessible through the city website.
You can still reach city staff by phone or email. Call 519-555-0100 for general inquiries, or use the contact form on our website for department-specific requests. If you have a walk-in appointment booked for November 1, please contact the office directly to move it online or pick a new date. You can also review holiday service hours to plan around future closures.
"We appreciate your flexibility as we upgrade our systems to keep your data secure and improve our online tools," says City Manager Robert Eng. "Almost everything you need can be handled through our phone lines or website, so you will not face any delays."
