The City of Wrenford has released the updated 2024 rates and booking policies for park rentals, effective January 1, 2024. The changes apply to all city-owned parks, trails, and outdoor facilities managed by the Parks & Trails division.
The updated schedule adjusts fees for standard greenspace rentals, pathway usage, and portable washrooms to match inflation and maintenance costs. A new $200.00 application fee covers processing for large community gatherings. The city is also introducing a streamlined online booking portal to reduce wait times and prevent double-bookings. Residents can now book spaces up to six months in advance instead of three.
If you are planning a wedding, a birthday party, or a local sports tournament, review the new fee schedule before you submit your request. All applicants must now upload proof of $2,000,000 in general liability insurance through the new portal. The city will also be running a free online workshop on November 28 to walk residents through the updated application steps. Applications are reviewed within ten business days.
